Media Accreditation
Media Accreditation at The SVRI Forum 2024
The SVRI Forum 2024 invites representatives from recognised media outlets and freelance journalists to apply for a press pass to attend the SVRI Forum 2024 from Tuesday 22 October to Thursday 24 October.
Accreditation for media is now open and will remain open until 20 October 2024. Any applications past this date will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis as time allows.
Media accreditation is exclusively for professional journalists working for media organisations and freelance journalists.
Media personnel must submit national/international journalist photo IDs.
Freelance journalists, including photographers, will be asked to provide clear documentation that they are on assignment for a specific news organisation or publication. Freelance journalists must submit copies of two by-lined articles in addition to an official letter of assignment.
All applicants must register individually, even if more than one journalist is coming from the same outlet. Each media house can have more than one professional covering the Forum.
Registered media may request 1:1 interviews with spokespeople, speakers, and attendees. While not guaranteed, we will try to accommodate such requests with advance notice.
At the SVRI Forum 2024 approved media professionals will be required to go to the registration desk to collect their official media pass.
You will need your ID document to register at the event.
Media registration is free and includes access to The SVRI Forum 2024, the media centre and press materials. Given the sensitive nature of the Forum, access to specific sessions will need to be reviewed by and approved by the SVRI.
Please note:
- Applications for media registration and/or accreditation are considered on a case-by-case basis
- SVRI reserves the right to ask for additional documentation demonstrating that you are a bona fide member of the media.
- Once your credentials have been reviewed and validated, your event registration and accreditation will be approved. You will receive an email confirming your SVRI media accreditation status.
- Media accreditation is not granted to non-editorial staff working for a publishing house (e.g. management, marketing, advertising executives).
- The final decision on all applications rests with SVRI who reserve the right to deny or withdraw registration or accreditation at any time.
